My name is Claudia Magnabosco and I am the founder of Room 401.

From a young age I worked in show business as a co-host for a local TV sports program, studied journalism and theater, and participated in fashion shows and beauty pageants. I have always had an unbridled passion for fashion and clothes-I loved creating looks, matching and advising people a lot. Driven by this passion I started to be an influencer for several stores: I liked taking photos, videos, explaining products and showing them to those on the other end of the phone.

After several years of experience, thanks mainly to the help of my partner who spurred me to believe in myself, I finally decided to set up on my own and give birth to my first online shop that of Room401 (the meaning is January 4, 1990, which is my date of birth). I admit that the first 5 months were really difficult: starting an online shop is anything but an easy task. The first 5 months I remember coming home almost every night at 1 a.m. to make stories, videos, photos, try on garments. I didn’t know what Sunday was, I never took a day off.

Eight months later, I realized another dream of mine: to open Room401’s physical store in the heart of Verona. Although I firmly believe in online, I wanted a store of my own that would run parallel with online. I opened during the most difficult time in history, during the covid emergency, but I have to say that on the one hand this was my good fortune because I was able to consolidate my online presence, I was able to make myself known and grow my community day by day.
